Celebrating its 42nd year, the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games is Tennessee's oldest festival of Scottish, Irish and Celtic culture. Presenting folk, roots, rock & pop music, highland athletics, pipes & drums, highland and Irish dance. Whisky tastings, vendors and a great selection of beer and food from the Scottish, Irish and British homelands.
Starting off in Townsend, Buggin' the Dragon is an annual event and group drive for air cooled Volkswagens. Drive the dragon and beyond with a group of true bug enthusiasts.
Hosted annually in June, the Smoky Mountain Small Bore Rally is a must attend event for any small bore enthusiast. The event is a jam-packed weekend of field games, races, stunting, giveaways, riding, food, and contests.
Professional balloonists light up the evening sky with a beautiful balloon glow and spectacular tethered rides. The sky will be filled with a spectrum of color like never before, against a backdrop of a breathtaking Tennessee Smoky Mountain sunset!
Open to all Jeep® enthusiasts and Jeep® Clubs, the Smoky Mountain Jeep® Invasion is an Expo for all leading Jeep® parts and their accessory vendors, including a Jeep® Show where several trophies are awarded.
The Townsend Grains & Grits Festival is an annual festival for spirits and fantastic food. Come for the fantastic food from local restaurants and purveyors and stay for the incredible selection of craft spirits from regional legends.
